Here is another example of one of my thrift store finds. This is a post WWII plastic star ornament. It is one of my favorites from the era. Next to it is one that was handed down from my mother and I think to her from my grandmother. It is a small gold Shiny Bright Christmas ornament with white flocked embellishments. These were sold at Woolworths and were extremely popular in the 1940's and 1950's.

Things That Are Me - 1950s Disco Ball Ornaments

I have several of these post WWII plastic "Disco" type ornaments. I think I got most of them at the thrift store and at estate sales. I even have one, though I would say it is a replica, that you put a battery in and it serves as a smoke detector in case you burn the place down with too many lights on a dry tree.

Things That Are Me - Vintage Angle Tree Topper

This is a vintage antique tree topper that I found in a thrift store back in the early 1990's. I do not use it as a tree topper because the metal spiral is so small that it has never fit on the top of any of my trees. So instead I use it as a Christmas ornament. It is also reversible with a different blond angel with pink wings on the backside. I have tried researching it's age, but I have not come up with anything yet.
